Breastfeeding in Public Laws

Breastfeeding in Public

Arizona law protects your right to breastfeed in public:

41-1443:  “A mother is entitled to breast-feed in any area of a public place or a place of public accommodation where the mother is otherwise lawfully present.“

13-1402.B.:  “Indecent exposure does not include an act of breast-feeding by a mother.”

Jury Duty

Arizona law does not address the topic of breastfeeding mothers and their jury duty responsibilities.

The Court will review and rule on all requests for excuse on a case-by-case basis.
